Beautiful 1920s Art Nouveau beaded silk drawstring purse. Soft pale blue with
off white flowers, each petal has gray metallic seed beads intertwined and a
faux pearl set in the middle of each flower petal. Delicate gray metallic seed
bead diamond pattern and fringe trim.

Glamour and style on this silky purse, very eye catching! Beaded on both
sides, the flower petals look hand stitched, measures almost 17" long plus 3"
of fringe, 8 1/2" across not drawn, 1 1/2" wide drawstring ribbon in cream.
This purse does show some wear to the silk, one side does have a thin dark 1"
line and a white spot about 1/2" toward edge of purse, tear and fraying along
the drawstring, missing 4 faux pearls. The other side has a line about 2" long
thin brownish stain, missing 3 faux pearls, a few small spots. The bottom has 2
places where the beading has come undone, both have been taped to prevent
further bead loss. Please review pics for details. Muslin lining.

Purse weighs 7 oz. I envision that this purse adorned the wrist of several
partygoers throughout the years and has held up very well considering. Truly a
great purse to add to your collection.
